Built in the early 1800's the Allendale Lion has been the hub of community to present day. Situated in the picturesque Northumberland Allendale town in the heart of the Allen Valley.

Flooring
Sympathetic to the history and quality of the Hotel we are upgrading the flooring systems with 200 year old Antique Hemlock flooring imported from an old Canadian mill.
The warmth and age of this floor will enhance the inviting ambiance.
Stairwell Renovation
One of the beautiful features of our hotel is the Grade II listed staircase. Our design team are currently preparing options to make this a central feature of the Hotel. Updates to come soon ...
